Daisycon offers extensive filtering capabilities with all of its statistics. With the filters you can quickly and easily make very comprehensive analyses.
Filters
Use the filters to search through the campaign statistics. You can filter on campaign, one or more media, high or low transactions and more, here is an overview of the most important filters:
- Campaign
- Media
- Transaction status
- Invoice reference number
- Commission
- Revenue
- Media ID
- Media type
- Wildcards
Several wildcards can be used for the filters. A wildcard is used, for example, when you don't know part of a description or want to search for everything that starts with 'product'.
The wildcards can be used in the following filters of the new interface:
- Daisycon ID (in transaction overview
- Transaction ID (in transaction overview)
- extra 1 to extra 5
- Description publisher
- Advertiser description
There are two wildcards:
- * (The asterisk you use to replace a string of characters)
- ? (a question mark is used to replace one particular character).
Both wildcards can be used more often and in random places.
Example 1:
Suppose you want to search for all transaction IDs starting with '198' Then you use '198*' in the filter. On the other hand, if you want to search for the IDs that end with '198', then use '*198' in the filter.
Would you search for "198?" then you will get back everything that starts with '198' and contains a total of 4 characters.
Example 2:
If you use 'product?group*' as your search query, you might get back the following results, among others:
- product group
- product_group
- product_group2
- product_group223
Here you can see that the question mark can be used when you know there is a certain character, but don't know exactly which one.
Example 3
Searching for description 'a???b' returns all descriptions starting with 'a', ending in 'b' and consisting of a total of 5 characters.
Smart view (Statistics)
Smart view means that you can view statistics in two ways.
- When the transaction took place (the standard way of viewing statistics)
- When the click of the transaction took place (track transactions by click date).
The second option is a unique option available only at Daisycon. The advantage of transactions traceable to click date is that you can see when publishers can promote the campaign most effectively. This provides particularly useful insights into affiliate campaign performance.
