As an affiliate network, we monitor and try to detect a lot of fraudulent behavior or improper use for our advertisers. However, there is always a possibility that a publisher remains under the radar or has implemented new methods not yet known to us.
Therefore, it is important that our advertisers remain alert themselves as well and continue to monitor strange behaviors on their campaigns. This all starts with deciding what type of publishers are allowed to promote your campaign. Always ask yourself the question whether the specific publisher fits the goals you want to achieve with your campaign.
In addition, we always advise you to take your time when verifying transactions. Always check whether the transaction is valid (is the data correct), and whether the clicks and conversion rates are correct. Do you suddenly see a very high value order, make sure to investigate this in your backend before approving such an outlier. Once you have approved transactions and they have been paid out to the publisher by Daisycon, it is often a lot harder to make a possible chargeback.
We also remind you as an advertiser that you have the option of adding additional rules and conditions to your campaign at any time. For example, do you want to allow email marketing, keyword marketing or social media within the campaign or not? And if so under what conditions? Ask your partner manager to advise you and help you set this up.
