Brandbidding is the practice of bidding on the advertiser's brand name within search engines using keyword marketing.
Daisycon and advertisers generally do not allow bidding on the brand name unless explicit permission has been given. Any deviations or additional conditions can be communicated to Daisycon by the advertiser, which will then be added to the campaign (marketing) settings.
Negative Keywords for (Google) Shopping Ads
Brandbidding is sometimes mentioned in the context of (Google) Shopping Ads. However, in Google Shopping Ads, you do not bid on specific keywords, so you do not actually bid on a certain 'brand'. Instead, the ads are displayed to the user when there is a match with product data from the product feed. To avoid having your ads displayed in the Google Shopping auction for unwanted search terms, publishers can add negative keywords.
Using negative keywords helps to better target ads and prevent them from being shown for irrelevant searches or searches for your brand or website name. As an advertiser, you can provide Daisycon with the negative keywords, which will then be added to the campaign (marketing) settings.
