Conversion attribution is the method by which conversions are assigned. In the path toward a purchase, several publishers may forward the visitor. Normally in Affiliate Marketing, the publisher who was the last to forward the visitor is assigned the commission. With conversion attribution, you are not only going to reward the last publisher, but also see if other publishers have added value and are entitled to receive a commission.

As an advertiser with Daisycon, you can see for each transaction exactly which publishers all referred the visitor before the transaction was generated. We call this engagement mapping. Via engagement mapping, you can easily analyze what the added value of different publishers is and which ones, you want to reward by giving them an additional assist fee.
