Approving (and disapproving) publishers (media) for your affiliate campaign is essential, as no promotion can take place without approved media. This process ensures that your products are promoted through the right partners.
How does publisher (media) approval work?
In your Daisycon dashboard, go to Publisher management > Approve media. Here, you’ll find a list of media that have applied to your campaign. You can approve or disapprove each media application. Each entry shows the media type, a short description, and links to the publisher’s website.
Consider which publishers and media best fit your campaign goals and preferred promotion methods. Taking time to review each application helps you select the most relevant partners and maintain campaign quality.
Approve or disapprove media
On the Approve media page (see screenshot 1), you can approve or disapprove multiple media at once using the menu in the bottom-right corner. When disapproving media, a modal window appears where you must select a reason and, if needed, add an additional explanation. The selected reason will also be shared with the publisher.
You can also go to Publisher management > Search media (see screenshot 2). From this overview page, advertisers can now also disapprove media that were already approved. The same modal appears for disapproval, allowing you to select a reason and enter an explanation. This update gives advertisers more flexibility in managing active partnerships directly.
Multi-select media for open requests
On the Search media page, use the filters to display media with the status Pending. You can then select multiple media at once and apply the same approval or disapproval action. When disapproving several media simultaneously, one reason and explanation can be applied to all selected items. This feature makes it easier to efficiently handle multiple open media requests at once.
Disapproval reasons
When disapproving a publisher (media), you’ll be asked to choose one of the following reasons:
- Violates campaign terms and conditions or guidelines
- It’s fraudulent / a scam
- Contains violent or illegal content
- Contains offensive material
- It’s spam
- It’s sexually inappropriate
- Other reason (with an explanation)
The chosen reason and your explanation will automatically be shared with the publisher when the media is disapproved.
Note: When a publisher (media) is disapproved or removed from your campaign, transactions will still be assigned to that publisher if the click date was before the removal or disapproval date. Any clicks made after that date will no longer lead to your campaign’s landing page.
