In the promotion settings you define how publishers are allowed to promote your campaign and which media types are permitted. This helps you control brand usage and align publisher activity with your marketing strategy.
These settings are available in MyDaisycon and can be managed via your campaign settings: Settings > Campaigns > Select your campaign > Promotion guidelines.
Negative keywords
Negative keywords allow you to restrict specific search terms in keyword marketing and Product Listing Ads (PLA). This helps prevent unwanted brand bidding and avoids conflicts with your own campaigns.
- You can add up to 50 negative keywords
- Each keyword has a maximum of 30 characters
- Special characters such as dots and hyphens are not allowed
If you maintain a larger list of restricted terms, you can include a reference to an external document in your campaign terms.
Media type permissions
Daisycon supports 29 different media types. For each media type you can define whether it is allowed to promote your campaign.
Examples of media types include:
- Keyword marketing and Product Listing Ads (PLA)
- Display and social media advertising
- Email marketing
- Cashback and loyalty platforms
- Coupon and deal websites
- Content websites and blogs
- Technology partners and browser extensions
For every media type you can:
- Set the status to allowed or not allowed
- Add an additional policy with specific conditions
The additional policy field is intended for short, clear instructions, for example restrictions on brand bidding, use of trademarks, or traffic sources. For more extensive rules, use your general advertiser terms.
Publishers are responsible for complying with these settings. If a publisher does not follow your rules, contact your Daisycon account manager.
